Copilot for Classification: Get new IDP use cases up and running quickly with less training and overhead. Copilot for Classification introduces LLM-powered classification to improve automation in scenarios where traditional models struggle—such as highly variable document formats or ‘low confidence’ use cases—helping organizations increase straight-through processing without extensive model training.

Email-Based Document Intake: With native email ingestion now available within DocAI Studio, documents can move directly from inboxes to automated workflows. Monitored email addresses automatically feed attachments into TotalAgility, eliminating manual downloads and re-uploads, mirroring how people already send documents in the real world. This reduces friction for users and helps keep processes flowing.

Trainable Document Separation: DocAI Studio users can now automatically split complex, multi-document files to speed up straight-through processing. Trainable, machine-learning-based document separation detects document boundaries in mixed, inconsistent batches, reducing manual splitting and ongoing rule maintenance.

Expanded Azure AI and OCR Support: Enhance document recognition with built-in Azure OCR integration and strengthen security with modern OAuth authentication rather than traditional API keys. This gives organizations greater flexibility, improved security and easier integration with existing Azure environments.

PDF and Training Improvements: Store and share documents more efficiently while keeping training models up to date. Improved PDF compression creates smaller, high-quality files that meet archival standards, and improved training and online learning enhance classification and extraction model training, enabling faster runtime updates without requiring full training sets, even when external datasets are in use.

Improved Knowledge Discovery Agent: We’ve refined the Knowledge Discovery Agent to help organizations get more out of its search and Q&A capabilities. These improvements ensure users understand when to use it and how to generate high-value insights from vast volumes of data.

Smarter Retrieval (Chunk Enrichment): Improve the relevance and reliability of AI responses. During indexing, Knowledge Base content can be enriched with metadata (such as source, date, and tags) to ensure answers more accurately reflect the original content.

Secure Knowledge Access: Support for OAuth-based authentication applies modern identity standards to your knowledge sources. This aligns with Zero Trust security models, ensuring only authorized users can query sensitive content.

Cloud, Security and Compliance

This update helps organizations keep pace with changing AI security and compliance expectations so you can scale use cases globally with confidence.

EU AI Act Transparency Support: Built-in transparency indicators notify users when they are interacting with AI content. This allows organizations to meet emerging EU standards by design.
