Moving to Peppol PINT format starting from 2024
Singapore has adopted Peppol e-invoicing since 2019. Currently, Peppol e-invoicing is not mandatory in the country, but the government intends to mandate B2G e-invoicing via Peppol standards shortly.
In addition to the B2G mandate initiative, the IMDA (Singapore Peppol Authority) also announced the plan to switch the current Peppol e-invoice format from Peppol BIS 3.0 to PINT-SG.
As of March 2025, all Peppol SPs in Singapore must be able to send and receive Peppol e-invoices in Singapore PINT standards as the registration and the receiving capability for Singapore BIS 3.0 will be removed from the SGNIC-SMP.
