Greece B2G E-Invoicing Mandate is now September 2025 and the future of B2B e-Invoicing
Greece has been rolling out their business to government (B2G) e-invoicing mandate since 2023, but has pushed the mandatory use until September 2025.
Recently the EU Council announced that Greece received approval to introduce mandatory business to business (B2B) e-invoicing starting in July 2025. While Greece has permission to start e-invoicing, there is no legislation mandating e-invoicing at this time.
The expectation is that the e-invoicing mandate will follow some of the same existing B2G requirements using Peppol and continued reporting data to the MyData platform.
Tungsten Automation is expecting further information from the Greek government to come out soon regarding the B2B e-invoicing requirements, and Tungsten will continue to monitor developments.
